Serving clients that include Nike, Puma, and New Balance, Ariaprene is a global provider of performance footwear product materials. With an ever-present goal to limit its environmental impact, Ariaprene hired Watson Creative to promote a new line of sustainable materials to its audience. My work with the Watson team included writing blog and social media posts that featured thought-leaders in the footwear industry and strengthened the argument for sustainable fashion needs.
OVERVIEW
Waste not.
The footwear and apparel industry has a huge impact on the environment, and waste is a big problem. As a material production company, Ariaprene wanted to help reduce that impact with a new line of sustainable materials called Terra.
Terra is made from Ariaprene's excess material trimmings that would otherwise go to waste. This repurposed material is well-suited for brands looking to embrace sustainability in their products.

As Lead Copywriter on this account with Watson Creative, I wrote for Ariaprene's blog and social media feeds to promote AP Terra and its eco-friendly benefits. My work for the Watson team featured interviews from industry thought-leaders from KEEN Footwear and local design agency, Studio Noyes. The blog articles highlighted the growing trend in sustainable fashion and the need for materials like Terra to help drive this initiative forward.
